3 min read

Have you heard the popular saying, “ First Impression is the Last Impression?” It goes very well when you are tasting the cuisine for the first time. When we are particularly talking about Indian food in wollongong then it can make the people go mad for it at the first go. But if you want this experience to remain etched in your memory, then here are some tips for you:

Start with the Appetizers

According to the chefs of the Indian restaurant in Penrith, “The biggest mistake foodies make that completely spoil their food experience is not ordering the appetizers and jumping straight to the main course.” Instead, the foodies should first of all order the appetizers that make them more craving for the main course delights. The Indian starters are not much heavy, but you should make sure that you are not eating them in excess. As you have to save a great amount of space for the main course. The Indian appetizers may include:

  • Dahi Vada.
  • Methi Muthia
  • Paneer Tikka.
  • Sweet Potato Tikki.
  • Sabudana Tikki.
  • Indian Onion Salad

Without sharing the food would not emerge tastily

The beauty of Indian food is that it does not appear to you tasty unless and until you share it with someone. If you prefer to visit the restaurant alone to enjoy the food, then no doubt you will make your tastebuds satisfied, but you will not be able to enjoy the food that much as you can enjoy when your family or friends are with you. So the next you go to any Indian restaurant, make sure you are not going there alone.

Do not take up with the buffet

Make sure you are not ordering a buffet. Instead, you are advised to order handmade dishes. If you order a buffet, then there are chances that you may miss out on 30% of the enjoyment of the Indian food.

Do your home-work

If you are going to visit an Indian restaurant for the first time, then make sure you have done the homework in the beginning. By home-work, we mean that you need to know about the basic ingredients like:

  • Aloo – Potatoes
  • Pyaz – Onion
  • Mutter – Green Peas
  • Chana – White Chickpeas
  • Palak – Spinach
  • Gajar – Carrot
  • Paneer – Cheese

These are the items that are customarily used in Indian food and the menu is framed based on these items like Mutter Pulao, Aloo Gobi and Palak Paneer.

Try something else instead of chicken

It is advised that you should not only dine on chicken-like dishes. There are so many dishes in Indian food like Mutton, Pork, Beef and Chicken.

Make your mix and match

When it comes to Indian food, then you have so many choices to choose from. For example, You can choose whether you want to pair the daal makhani with rice or roti.

Bottom Line

If by these tips, you have enjoyed the Indian food to the fullest, then please let us know. We shall get motivated if given a chance to serve you.
